What’s next for Chindia? Great food for thought:

Also wondering what's next for China + America (Chinerica? Chamerica) - the Yin and Yang of a global dynamic that has suddenly ground to a halt. China built up a huge trade surplus producing low-cost goods that America bought, increasingly with money borrowed from China. China needed American consumers buying plenty to keep it growing fast. Now what?

Some very interesting thinking on China (and India) from Yasheng Huan at MIT Sloan School of management - also interviewed in a podcast here http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/factual/thinkingallowed/thinkingallowed_20081217.shtml
